About me

My philosophy is that you can only make a positive change in your life and be the person you want to be if you first take ownership of your fitness level. From there, you can start your fitness journey.

My own fitness journey began when I was 23 years old.  I had always loved playing football and golf, and taken an interest in the careers of sportsmen and women.  I studies Sports and Sports Science at university, and was lucky enough to work in America at a weight-loss camp where I helped children achieve better fitness and confidence.

Getting my degree and then becoming a fitness trainer were two big personal achievements.  I pushed myself to limits I had never previously experienced.  At 25, I got my first personal training job at Spirit Health Club in Oxford and was later asked to move to Juvenate.

Alongside this, I also continue to work with young adults who struggle with emotional, social and behavioural issues. It is challenging but rewarding work, and I have learned a lot from them.

My motivation is helping people accomplish success through being fit, and making a difference to their lives. I’m motivated by the wish not to fail, but find a way to succeed and make it happen.  I like clients coming to me with a plan which I feel I can put into practice for them.  I want clients to feel they can open up to me and know they won’t be judged nor stereotyped.  I believe the personal trainer/client relationship is key for overall success and achievement.

I offer one-to-one, couple, or small group sessions, in packages of 6, 12 and 20 weeks. I can offer boxercise, HIIT sessions, nutritional advice, strength and conditioning training, and weight loss body transformation.  I am CRB checked and able to work with young athletes and would-be athletes.  I have first aid training and am affiliated to CIMSPA (The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) which is recognised worldwide.

On a personal note, I am born and bred in Oxfordshire and consider myself a big family person. My wife and young son are my world.  When I’m not working, I’m either with them or playing golf. Maybe one day the three of us will be playing golf together!
